Kyle
Moon

Kyle Moon is a professional wildlife photographer, naturalist, and fine art artist based in Gardiner, Montana, at the northern gateway to Yellowstone National Park. Living in this iconic ecosystem, Kyle has dedicated his life to observing, understanding, and sharing the natural world.

With a background in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation, Kyle worked on field projects across North and South America before transitioning to full-time photography and education. This scientific foundation gives him a deep understanding of animal behavior and habitats, which he integrates directly into his guiding.

As an instructor, Kyle helps photographers of all skill levels grow behind the camera. His teaching blends technical instruction, creative vision, and fieldcraft to improve composition, tracking, and visual storytelling. His approach emphasizes not just capturing compelling images, but respecting wildlife and understanding the ecosystems they depend on.

Kyle leads wildlife photography workshops in Yellowstone, Costa Rica, and India. Through every expedition, his goal is to leave participants as better photographers, more informed naturalists, and stronger advocates for conservation.
